Display the rental-category overview. Selecting an offer opens its details; texts, images and equipment come from Bookyt.
Add a Shortcode block to your WordPress page and paste the following code.
[bookyt call="category"]Parameters for this example
| Parameter | Value / default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
call | category | Use this exact value to select the view shown in this example. |
Show one category directly
[bookyt call="item" category_id="4"]For call="item", category_id is the ID of the rental category to display. For call="category", station_id and category_id do not filter the category overview in this plugin version.
The numeric IDs in the examples are placeholders. Replace them with IDs from your own account. Attribute names and call values stay unchanged in every language.
Account, language and shared options
Install and activate Bookyt Rental Software. Under Settings → Bookyt, save your account name and access token, then select a fixed language or Automatic to follow the WordPress language. The embed and booking_button views need an account but no access token. Keep credentials in the settings rather than in page content.
| Parameter | Value / default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
account | Saved setting | Optional account override: use the account name only, without https:// or .bookyt.de. Normally leave this out and use the saved setting. |
token | Saved setting | Optional access-token override for API views. Configure the token in Settings → Bookyt; do not publish a real token in an example or page source. Not required for embed or booking_button. |
Bookyt selects the language in its plugin settings; lang is not a supported Bookyt shortcode attribute. This demo website passes its selected language to the plugin.
